Block 1 - 10:10-11:00

Little Explorers (Ages 4 & Under)

Play & Sensory Stations - Each week there will be different toys & stations for our little explorers to discover

Spy Kids STEAM (Ages 5.5-9)

Explore the in’s and outs of the spy world through a series of STEAM inspired lessons.  Learn about the history of espionage as well as work through special missions while improving your spy skills of observation, code breaking, disguise and more!  Parent spy’s are encouraged to come and train alongside their spy kids.

Community Neighbors (Ages 9-18)

Each week we will visit one of the businesses or organizations in Pine Mountain or have someone come to talk to us. We will learn about entrepreneurship, explore careers, our community, why it’s important to support small businesses and journal about our experiences along the way!

French (Ages 11-14)

This class is provided by French with Xavier

During the next French session, both children and adults will be invited to explore or strengthen their understanding of French fundamentals. By the end of the 10-week program, each participant will be able to formulate basic French sentences related to everyday activities, applying essential grammar and conjugation rules with confidence.

Every week, the lessons will be carefully tailored to suit the age group and personal interests of the students, ensuring a personalized learning experience. With a perfect balance of grammar, conjugation, and vocabulary, the sessions are

designed to be both effective and enjoyable.

Through engaging games, quizzes, and other interactive activities, every opportunity will be taken to make the lessons not only stimulating but also productive.Get ready to embark on a fun-filled journey to mastering French—one exciting lesson at a time!

Leadership Through Science (Ages 12-18)

Leadership through Science- Teens will work on their public speaking and leadership skills by presenting on a scientist and leading their classmates in a related science experiment. I will assign the scientists, provide some information on the scientists, plan the experiments, and provide the materials for the experiments. The teens will have to prepare the information they want to present, present it to the class, and lead an experiment (explaining how this relates to the scientist they presented on).

Block 2 - 11:10-12:00

Little Explorers (Ages 4 & Under)

Movement Songs, Play & Snacks - Each week we’ll start with play time then transition to movement songs followed by a snack for little explorers that are eating solid foods.

Kids Club (Ages 3-6)

Each week we'll start with a song and explore something new. This may be what makes a good friend or dissecting a pumpkin. This class will help kids learn to work together while having fun along the way!

Art (Ages 5-10)

This will be a very laid back art class with 1 weekly project. I will have a project that they will recreate or that they can make their own. This will be a small class where students will working 1 on 1 with me and each other.

Materials: Set of Faber Castell basic drawing pencils, 1 large eraser and a multimedia notebook. If they are a returning student of mine , their old notebook is fine. 

I will provide anything special we use, colored pencils, paint, scissors, etc.

Guitar (Ages 10+)

This class is provided by The Church Music Academy

Curriculum will be chord based teaching a series of chords with the understanding of how they are related to their keys.  Rhythm patterns will be introduced as students progress in their ability to change chordings.

Repertoire will be applied to Praise & Worship songs.

Art & Geometry (Ages 12-18)

Art & Geometry- Teens will channel their creative energy into different art projects using geometry. Art and geometry pair perfectly together, engaging both the artistic and mathematical parts of the brain, making for a complete learning experience.

Film Appreciation/ Film Making (Ages 10-18)

We will dive into different Disney movies and tv shows  breaking them down to there basic elements and themes along with studying the history and watching the behind the scenes films in order to learn what goes into making a film then we will take what learn into action by making our own short film that we will present at the end of the session.

Craft & Play Time - Our little explorers will do a craft during this block then end their time with play!

Book Cooks (Ages 5-9)

In this literature based cooking class kids will learn kitchen safety, explore literature and cook some delicious dishes that are related to each book they read! Each child will receive a chef’s hat and apron that they can keep after the session.

Watercolors (Ages 10-18)

Materials needed: Water color notebook, medium to heavy weight, 2 bushes, exact ones will be sent out upon class registration and a pallet again exact will be sent out upon registration. All other materials, including anything special will be provided by me.

This class will require homework and class presentations which may include some public speaking. This will be quiet a class with music on each week and sometimes we may incorporate poetry with our work. I look forward to developing a love of learning about all things beautiful in this class.

Bookish Things (All Kinds of Book Fun and Crafts!) (Ages 12-18)

In this class, we will do all things bookish! We will share about books that we love, play word games, make books, do crafts with book pages, learn about different authors and their styles! If you love bookish things, this class is for you! All materials will be provided, though we might do a mystery book swap party towards the end of the term, and students would bring in a wrapped book to swap!
